Neural Networks

The brain is the most complex part in human or animals’ body. It produces every thought, action, memory, feeling and experience of the world. This jelly-like mass of tissue, weighting in at around 1.4 kilograms, contains staggering one hundred billion neurons.

After referring this blog post you will able to understand what is a neural network, what it is doing, how we look inside our brains through neural networks.

1.0 What is a neural network?

Neural network is an interconnected nerve cells called neurons which especially in nervous system in brain. Those neuron cells are the basic thing which helps to know about senses. There are five senses when it is come to anatomy; eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin helps for sensing but neurons are doing a vital part in that sensing. Interconnection billions of neurons are making a network and it passes the impulses to the brain what kind of sensing receiving from the outside world.

Calcium ions generate versatile intracellular signals that control key functions in all types of neurons. In calcium channel imaging, basically want to do is taking photographs of how neurons functioning. But it is impossible task to do when there are billions of neurons so to do that an ionized fluorescent calcium ion (Ca2+) is used. Neurons are giving pulses in a uni-directional way so by using ionized calcium ion it is easy to track and take photographs of neurons functioning through neural network.
